One of the original owners/founders behind the legendary Dream Reapers Haunted House and owner/founder of D.E.A.D. Rising Haunted House in Crestwood, Illinois, John was a veteran haunter and legend of the Chicagoland haunted house community for over 30 years. John was truly an inspiration to all those with whom he shared his life. He was a deeply passionate friend, mentor, husband, father, grandfather, artist, filmmaker, makeup artist, and haunter. BREAKING NEWS We wanted to make sure you receive the latest news concerning the impact the Coronavirus/COVID-19 situation has had on the haunted attraction industry. As we all know, these decisions have not easily been made. Please be aware: This weekend's special St. Patrick's Day Haunted Event at Basement of the Dead in Aurora, Illinois, has been cancelled/postponed. It was originally scheduled for March 13th and 14th. Next weekend's annual industry tradeshow: Transworld's Halloween and Attractions Show in St. Louis, Missouri, has been cancelled/postponed.
