We have been very privileged to be able to attend the Karnival of Karnage for many years now. Through triumph and tragedy, owners Billy and Stacy never stop focusing on producing a fun and entertaining attraction. AND let us tell you, they are willing to sacrifice whatever it takes to make sure their crew and patrons are treated to the best experience they can provide. The focus is on fun, the love of Halloween, and donating a lot of money to the Shriners! (Bravo!)

As we began our journey, we joined the party already in session as the DJ spun twisted tunes, and several line actors had us keeping our eyes peeled at all times. Guests had fun watching the action and dancing as their imminent doom lay just feet in front of them!

When it was finally our time to enter, we were properly welcomed by Karnie Mari, a mainstay at the attraction for years! As the ringmaster of the circus, she managed the traffic and laid down the law. She told us tales of lost patrons defeated by the maze and were so happy we made it out to visit her. After some games and interactivity, she cautioned us about the scenes we were about to see, but did we listen? Absolutely not!

Further inside, we went through classic, traditional scenes like the graveyard, floor drop, and the 3D section of the haunt. But, we have to give extra credit to that really fun red and white curtain maze, and a very interactive hospital room! In both of these sections, path design was wonderful and the actors that roamed the areas were playful and entertaining with that back-and-forth banter! Our favorite new scene may be the full garage that was built into the design! (We love when we have to duck and dodge!) BUT, we would be remiss if we didn’t mention the spider web hallway. Now, this isn’t new by any accord to the attraction, but the way it is weaved this season made for no easy escape! (Just the way the spiders like it!)

The Bottom Line: Karnival of Karnage is a voyage into a variety of scenes encapsulating all your favorite fears! It is dark, gritty, and in your face! It is easy to see the actors are having fun, because they take pride in making you scream! Get ready to step right up and try to escape the Karnival!
